Saturday 9th November - walk **** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy :(.

With the misty, chilly gloom continuing and no plans for today Mag and I had a lovely lazy lay-in finally getting up around 10, with very little wind I decided to have a quick ride round to take some weather pics even though it is even harder to get on the TV over the weekend! I made a quick stop at a very busy Fludyers to take a pic of the many dippers making the most of the mirror flat sea but very grey before continuing down to Felixstowe Ferry, passing The Dip with the tide low, the shingle bank out it looked ideal for a walk in the moody gloom so after quickly getting a few pics of the boats on the River Deben O returned home to see if Mag was up for a walk. Even though she had only just got out of the shower she did join me as we returned to The Dip to park and set off along the prom before heading down onto the beach heading out to the vast area of exposed shingle which makes for a top walk, it is just lovely with the only sound the lapping of the small waves rolling up the pebbles:) We return along the path next to the golf course and back home for a warming cuppa, I sort out my pics while makes some yummy homemade mushroom soup. Mag then heads up the town while I do my exercises, we might even get a glimpse of some sun tomorrow, its been awhile now!

PS - there is a good chance to see the Northern Lights tonight but way too cloudy for that here in Felixstowe!
